Subject Line: Intern for Art.sy’s Founder/CEO
Below is an email to some friends about Art.sy’s new internship position. It’s a job opportunity I would have KILLED for when I was younger. I hope you will consider it for yourself or your friends.

Hey guys - I wanted to follow up with more info regarding our new intern position.
Besides starting a company, I can’t imagine a better opportunity for someone who is passionate about startups — especially if they don’t have a technical background (although that would be a very nice bonus).
In a nut shell, they will help me do my job harder, better, faster, and stronger.
They will learn how to hire A players, how to manage the creation of a web application, how to breathe the rarefied air of the art world, how to find and work with great engineers, and much more.
The networking will be insane. They will be present for meetings with our investors and partners. They will sit next to me in our beautiful Flatiron offices, at General Assembly, with many of NYC’s most exciting startups (not to mention incredible corner views over Broadway and 20th street). They will meet many of the tech community’s rising stars, and get to watch first-hand as their business models and technologies change the world (or die trying).
I am so jealous that I never had an opportunity like this when I was younger. And I will be personally invested in making sure this person becomes a shooting star in the tech world.
What I’m asking:
I would be grateful if you could send this to anyone you think is appropriate.
I am looking for an EXTREMELY intelligent, hungry, organized, and passionate individual with beautifully efficient writing skills, and humility to boot. I want to be able to throw random complex tasks at them, knowing they will ‘just figure it out’ and surprise me with the quality of their results.
The position starts asap, and is a 3 month internship (salary depends on time commitment) with potential for a full-time position at the end.
Please forward this onto anyone appropriate and have them contact me.
Thanks, Carter
[Update: to clarify, part-time positions will be unpaid. Full-time positions are paid.]

Very belated, and while I’ve only met Carter a few times, seems like an awesome opportunity.
